i just gotta...

say that i dont understand you people. we are supposed to be a team. whatever happened to groupwork? collaborative effort? its no surprise that we are still here, not moving anywhere. and whats with you lady; went on solo-sailing and then whining around about all the hardship you went through alone? complaining no one was around to give you hands. the hey-i-purposely-make-myself-overworked-act was not cool at all. never for my liking. a simple notice or a short meeting would've save us the misery. thank you.

oh, hye peeps. you can just forget what you've just read. i just gotta...

i've got mail! and a pink ribbon?

have u ever need (read: want) something so bad and actually got it at the end of the day? i feel u. recently, before raya to be exact, i stumbled upon 2 books of simple, cute and beautiful felt designs over the net (yey!!) but the seller told me they were sold out (dank!!) well, maybe they aint 'made' for me. haha. God willing, right after raya, i received a very hard-to-resist offer from the same seller- a complete set of felt designs, comprising of 4 books in total, not just the two i saw previously (double yey!!)

who cares if i cant read Chinese? *big grin*

kak zana, the seller said "akak rasa mmg Allah nak bagi kat kamu la buku-buku tu..." haha. she's cute, isnt she? kak zana, i think u are right, and thanks for the superb transaction. its nice dealing with u. kak zana, the owner of seni-z is a very kind and a helpful seller. i even got a raya card from her! how nice. we exchanged few silly jokes on poslaju and yeah, she's definitely a recomended seller if u are looking for craft books and whatnot.

now, lets get the ball rolling!

wait, im currently down with a running nose (aaaaa... i hate this so much!) guess i have to wait for a little longer. but for the time being,

..... lets paint the world p.i.n.k !!!

my version of how to..

make sushi rolls! last nite, someone send me a message "salam soy. sori ggu mlm2. cn u please post an entry on how to make sushi. yg mcm kte buat kt ipba tu. esp on how to prepare the rice. tq. muah!' sorry ya miss, i dont have any picture to show u, im letting your imagintaion to run wild on this one =p oh, last nite i was too sleepy to finish up the entry. so, today, here u are:

sushi rolls soya-ed style!

the ingredients:
- vegetables or other fillings (egg with mayo, tuna with mayo, cucumber, avocado, carrots, cheese stick or anything you like for that matter)
- short-grained rice (if u cant find the real sushi rice)
- rice vinegar (or the normal halal vinegar)
- nori (aka seaweed)
- soy sauce (for dipping)
- salt and sugar

others:
- sharp knife
- bamboo mat

the steps:
1. prepare the rice vinegar by heating it with sugar and salt until they are dissolved.
2. rinse the rice for several minutes and steam in a rice cooker.
3. while the rice is still hot, pour in the prepared vinegar and use a spoon spread it around (this also to cool the rice down).
4. either use the rice soon after preparing it, or cover it with a damp cloth to keep it moist.
5. place a nori down on the bamboo mat ( i think the shinier side is put face down).
6. grab the cooked rice and spread it onto the nori. (dont make it too thick)
7. leave about half an inch of space at the edge of the nori and rub a bit of warm water on it (this will help the two sides of nori stick together).
8. line up the fillings in the middle of the nori.
9. roll it up!
10. cut the roll into pieces and tada! your sushi roll is ready to be eaten =)

p/s: sd, when you are done with the cooking, snap the picture and post it on your blog k!
